Official Lanier County records come from the government office that created or maintains them. The routes below distinguish the Lakeland court counters, the sheriff and jail, the reporting police agency, and Georgia's statewide criminal-history repository.

This Is Not a Government Office. This privately run reference site cannot retrieve an official record, perform a background check, correct or restrict a history, or receive a court filing. Those services must be requested directly from the responsible government custodian.

For sheriff-held records, contact the Lanier County Sheriff's Office front desk, 63 W. Church Road, Lakeland, GA 31635, 229-482-3545. Some sheriff materials say “Church Avenue,” so confirm the exact mailing or visit address and current pickup instructions by telephone.
